Actually i think the media reserves its inquisitions for anyone slightly right of Neil Oliver ! The left have had a easy ride for years, just look at that twat Sadiq Khan, Starmer, Raynor and the rest, even Blair keeps making it into the papers with his madcap schemes. Plus our very own SNP.

At least the suggestion of Blair being on the left brings humour to the conversation.

Anyone that is really on the left and becomes a real threat to the status quo, eg. Corbyn, gets absolutely slaughtered and continuously discredited with mostly lies.

Exactly the same on the right in the UK. We are probably the only country in Europe without a functioning truly right or left wing party. When and if any surfice they are quickly shut down by a combination of the MSM, Police infiltration, legal action by politicised lawyers and other NGOs/pressure groups of all hues.

Let's face it, anything that isn't centrist is viewed as extremist by the other side and questionable by the MSM.

With economic problems on the horizon, perhaps the very recent French vote gives an indication of how things might go (the general populace lurching back towards socialism and nationalism).

Funny how this inevitably gets bogged down in a show of political credentials.  The strikes are clearly orchestrated to avoid or significantly delay productivity improvements, while hamstringing the govt for the next year or so in concert with other unions. Faults on all sides but this is definitely not in the country’s interest.

And almost everyone in the debate is actually within scratching distance of the centre anyway

Can't agree, or at least not to the same extent. Never seen a politician (Corbyn) under various, but always constant, campaigns to discredit him over such a long time period.

Farage is the only one on the right that I can think of who reached a position to significantly influence major events and got a lot of negative attention. A lot came from scared Tories.

No, i don't prefer any MSM types, i treat them with equal contempt.

The good news is that the new trains designed by Siemens and scheduled to be introduced from 2025 will have fully driverless capability. The new Elizabeth Line can be driverless when it operates in London and the DLR is already driverless from its opening in 1987.

Do you foresee a role for humans in this Brave New World? Driverless cars may come in too...
