They mean sweet FA to the seedings of the WC qualifiers. As far as I know it is the performance of the teams in the groups that decides it. The total number of points gained in the last two campaigns divided by the total number of games played gives each team a coefficient. The countries are ranked by this coefficient and put into the various pots. I found this info somewhere on the web recently but I can't find it now... As far as I was aware it's a combination of the two. In any case, whilst not being perfect, if your form is good your ranking is good. Your form will largely be dictated by results in previous qualifiers and hence your ranking will be an indicator of your seeding. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
