Champions League 2023/24

Thought Arsenal were good value for their win @compo, had it on in the background and they controlled it for the most part.

Sevilla have been a bogey side for a few english teams over recent years so that's a more than decent result - tough atmosphere and even tougher amenities for fans (good bog water though!).

Hopefully the Arsenal fans had an amicable time over there.

They console themselves with besting us domestically. They don't care. You cant shame someone who feels no shame.

It makes me sick to think Walter Smith was lambasted during the latter of our 9IAR for European failure when it was contextual of the circumstances at the time (3 foreigner rule, bosman) specifically the tactical evolution of the european game which bypassed Scottish and to some extent UK football as a whole. He had achieved european success before and after this spell so the problem was obviously not the manager.
