I wonder how long it will be before Saudi becomes part of Europe and see teams from the Saudi league in the champions leagues don’t forget money talks.

If Israel can be in Europe, so can Saudi I suppose.

Kazakhstan is in UEFA.

Therefore, if you are drawn against a team from, say, Almaty, the largest city, and former capital, you will be playing the away leg east of China's western border.

Admittedly, Khazakhstan is large, and a fairly substantial part lies to the West of the Urals, which were always regarded as the approximate boundary between Europe and Asia, but really.....

As I said on another forum if Australia can be in the Eurovision Song Contest crap  anything can happen!!!!

Also, Australia managed to negotiate themselves into the Asian Football Confederation from the Oceanian.

Compo's right- If there's enough money to be made from Saudi teams playing against the likes of Barcelona, Real and Juventus, it will happen. Maybe they'll prop up the Super League.

The US teams will end up in too, there is no way there can be so many US owned European clubs with a voice at the table and not want them involved.

The current football elite is reaching their limits of growth and is unsustainable without massive injections of new money. For that reason and no other, the current product/market interface will have to change dramatically. When it does they would be as well calling it a different sport, for all the connection it will have with the game played at Ibrox.

The big sports in the US run their own streaming services. MLB, NFL, NBA. Wouldn’t be surprised if UEFA / EPL / La Liga etc go down that road. Cut out the middle man save cash maximum profit.
