[FT] Aris Limassol 2 - 1 Rangers (Sima 70')

We genuinely need a clear out of some of these players.

Barisic, Lundstrum, Dessers, Lammers are hopeless. Just not good enough at all.

Tav and Goldson are not priorities to leave, but we have to start phasing them out.

Wright is hopeless, but at least is scottish registered.

Butland, Raskin, Sima and at a push, Davies are the only ones who are actually offering much.

Call me out for calling out our full backs like but it's actually brutal to watch them try to reach the byline.

There's a reason we swing in crosses from deep, it's because they can't fucking move.

Butland, Raskin, Wright and Sima can stay on. The rest might as well stay in the dressing room. Scott Wright might even be our best player in the first half, it’s that bad.

I've watched a lot of bad performances over the last 30 years but that has to be up there with the worst. The lack of effort and quality is simply unacceptable. Yes, the pitch looks crap and it must be hot but we have player after player walking about. Very few get pass marks.

Goldson and Davies prefer to put each other pressure. Our full backs are neither defensive or attacking. Our midfield can't pass. Our attacking three have no idea where to play and our striker lumbers about aimlessly. Only Sima carries a threat. Tav, Lundstram and Lammers are laughably bad and should be taken off immediately.

Now, Michael Beale absolutely had to go but, make no mistake here, some of these players are all about themselves and certainly no longer part of a team. The disrespect shown to Steven Davis and the travelling support is infuriating. I dread to think what awaits us. Chancers.

This looks like a mid-season cup game away to Hearts or Hibs, with they being on steroids for about 25 mins before reverting to the shyte standard they are. Just hit and hope. Some touches and passes would make a Lowland League manager chuckle, some fouls too. That said, they turned over Bratislava earlier this year, so that style may catch someone flat-footed.

We essentially huff and puff and need someone hitting the trigger instead of passing it to the next worse positioned player in the area. Some clever long balls over the top, but too few taking risks and running into spaces. Wright is having a good game, Lammers should stop outplaying himself.

The ref a typical Iberian buffoon.

This one could either see us end up conceding a couple more from counter-attacks and corners, or beat that lot by 3 or more.

I want Sakala back!

We are very fortunate it’s only 1-0.
The team’s confidence is shot to bits after Saturday.

We lack creativity, constantly give the ball away needlessly & lack a credible threat up front

Worrying times lie ahead for whoever takes over

Just now, mitre_mouldmaster said:

Raskin and Sima were better than Wright, but pretty much agree.

It’s been scarce pickings but the only morsel of creativity I’ve seen has come from Wright.
