Great football IQ, and passing ability which will probably take him far in the business portion of the sport...where he BELONGS. However, in the pros that only goes so far, when you are slower than a line at the DMV. Think about him like an uncle doing a 20 year stretch in the joint. Gonzo79 13,621 Posted January 12 Share Posted January 12 (edited) Sima has scored some important goals, which have kept us in the title race and helped us qualify for the EL last 16, so the loan has been worthwhile. The simple truth is, we can't afford the transfer fees or wages for EPL players (there might be the odd exception) but that doesn't mean we shouldn't make use of the loan option. No I agree with you on that but even if we did have a loan or buy back option that’s that gone, how much is big simas wages? should we be paying large sums of money on players that come for a season on loan and perform amazing for us and for us to restart the process all over again? surely there is someone out there who would love to sign for us rather than on a loan basis. With a lot of these loan deals, the parent club will continue to pay a percentage.
