16 year old as I say if he's good enough he's old enough great to see young players playing.

Hopefully they look after him properly, too many young players burst onto the scene these days then just disappear after a few years. Ansu Fati was the next big thing at a similar age a few years back and he looks like tapering off at 21.

Never watched the match last night but I see in some of the papers this morning some of the Dutch aren’t to happy with the referee

Var missed the fact that Saka handled just before so if Kane had scored it should have been disallowed. Compare that penalty given to the foul on Armstrong v Hungary being disallowed. It's either incompetence or corruption -  I hope the former. Saying that England deserved the win.

The ref was generally fine, apart from the penalty decision. He didn't give it initially then was sent to review by VAR and then gave it.

My view was that it wasn't a penalty as it was more Kane kicking the defender than the other way around but the defender's foot was up with studs showing, which Is presumably why the ref gave it.

It's certainly a controversial talking point.

Decent game, correct result. England were really good in the first half and came very close to scoring about three times twice by Foden and once by Kane. I fear, though, that Kane is England’s Ronaldo.

The Dutch came into the match in the second half but no great shakes. Well behind Portugal and Germany and not as good as Austria or France.
