Graeme Ro55 776
I knew we were in for a tough season and suspected there were would be ups and downs with such a new, untested, young squad so I'm sticking with Big Phil. I have seen improvement in some of the players and regression in others, but I'm not alone in knowing this was a project as the board gave him a four year deal. And I hope I'm not alone in sticking with Big Phil. WATP Edited October 22 by Graeme Ro55
Gonzo79 15,299
I think the board are determined to stick with PC. For the time being, I think we should too, although he's going to have to start being more pragmatic with tactics and line-ups at some point, otherwise things will get very difficult. The next three games will be huge, in terms of keeping the support on his side, although I think a significant percentage have already decided they want him gone. The players don't seem to be on his side. That's never a good sign.
Scott7 6,091
I don’t know how many players are truly committed to the Club. Balogun, Barron, McAusland and maybe Butland. The rest will perform as professional wage earners but without the extra effort of, for example, a Ferguson. Tavernier had it for a while but for seasons now, he’s been paralysed by fear. Just look at his eyes.
Sutton_blows_goats 5,417
I have more faith in Phil than I had in Gio or Beale at this point, but it’s diminishing rapidly.
compo 7,136
At this time of the year they used to have the circus in the Kelvin hall that’s were most of our clowns should be not on a football pitch . you never know we might have a new manager at the end of the week. I expect things will have to go really badly for him to be sacked. Judging by Sunday's performance, that's a distinct possibility. Frankie 8,640
I don't think there will be a change any time soon but without clear and obvious improvement it is inevitable.
