You say that like there's just one way to play out from the back - and just one way to play long. And it's not either/or. Like I said, I don't think there are flexible managers now. You won't see Dyche play out from the back in any way, for example. They will all have principles of play. They need to adapt within that, though - which Martin has demonstrated, IMO.
