McCormack to sign for 'Well

Recommended Posts

so mediocre he scored against porto away!

lol :)

And then didn't really do much after that, or set Doncaster alight with his performances either, although Malpas says he's seen an improvement in him since he returned. I know we were harsh on AM for putting the guy out to loan instead of playing him, but now PLG has also come to the same decision, that he obviously isn't anything special.

Burkey did all the ground work for that Porto goal, no taking anything away from McCormack, he kept his head and scored it.... but Burke chased after a ball that ALOT of players (too fookin many) we have would have given up on.

One goal a striker does not make Colsh.

I remember watching one of the Hibs games at Ibrox and he came on as a sub and was the ONLY player showing any heart and fight - but at this level you need a bit more than that.

He is so far down the pecking order though that it is right for HIM as well as the club for him to leave.

Seriously Colsh, is that moment your entire justification of his ability?

well i suppose it is since it`s the best part of his career so far.

conversley i cannot really defend him too much as i haven`t really seen much of him at doncastor or in the reserves.

i just liked what i seen in the time i had to watch him and felt he had won a chance to prove himself further.

i feel he could be very bitter about this decision and it may well come back to haunt us.

but, i`m 100% for paul le guen so i`m not really prepared to argue for him if he`s made this decision.

just making it known i felt he could have done something for us in time!

All the best to McCormack, only saw him a few times so cant really comment if he was good enough or not. But with Prso, Novo, Boyd and probably another he would be better off getting first team football with Motherwell.

One goal is better than none and it makes you wonder why he didn't get more of a chance ahead of Jeffers and Nieto...

We've got more promising strikers in Ashikodi and Carcary but good luck to the lad.

I think if you look at the stats, McCormack did get as much, if not more of a chance that Jeffers and Nieto.

Simply fact is that neither AM nor PLG rate him, they both can't be wrong - can they?

Semantics calscot - yes, one goal is better than none but it still doesn't make a striker. Nieto was injured and HE never got a fair chance either did he ? As for getting a chance ahead of Jeffers I am the wrong person to be asking on that front.
