My point being he is flying now. OK they are well out of the league, but if they win the CL I think they will see it as shrewd (although many a Liverpool fan wants the League title I know!) I think a lot of them feel a bit peeved off that Benitez rested Torres at the start of the season when he was fresh and raring to go. If he had played in the games he missed then Liverpool could've been going for the title. It's a big ask as they are about 13 (I think) points behind Man Ure but I'm 100% sure the gap would've been smaller if he had played. I think any fan of any team will agree that the league is the bread and butter for any club and winning that beats winning anything else.
