To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what people are protesting at. That the club let Cuellar go even though there wasn't a thing they could do to prevent it? Walter Smiths poor signings? The Kaunas defeat? Murray? That the club got to it's first European final in 36 years? That we ended the season with 2 trophies after a few years with none? That we've made an unbeaten start to the league season?

Youve just summed it up mate. What are they wanting?

The poll is pointless as its a public poll therefore people will be reluctant to be honest.

But, in saying that, am I happy about the protest? I don't know, but what I do know is that I respect the people who did, they had their say, albeit not as loud as they had wanted but just goes to show how easily the fans are swayed by a couple of interviews and a 'we're okay' interview by SDM.

There will be reluctance for people to protest after the one a couple of years ago which could have resulted in bears being hurt, or even worse children.

Everyone is entitled to have a say, that's the society we live in.

Never had a problem with people being honest about their opinions on here. We're not as busy as other forums and most posters tend to 'know' others' opinions on most matters so are usually capable of debating openly enough.

I think all the threads of late showing negative/positive attitudes and pro/anti protest posts have already shown no-one is worried that they can't defend their point of view if necessary.

I certainly back the protests as what has happened over the last week was mainly pretty mild but strong enough to place the chairman under pressure to a degree. How much, no-one can really say but it doesn't matter now we have improved the team and won our first two tricky league games.

Now, any protests shouldn't stop but become more constructive in highlighting the issues that remain within the way the club is run.

It will be interesting to see how that happens.

Everyone has an opinion, and they are entitled to protest if that is what they want to do. People who wish not to protest should go about there business... and not simply be an anti protester for the sake of them not thinking anyone can't think anyway but there way.

The fact people are protesting shows how much they love the club, how much the the pain of Kaunas hurt. Particularly when they witnessed the early signings. Wrong positions strenghtened at the wrong time

The same folk who are protesting are for the most part the same folk who when in europe last season were worshiping the ground that WS walked on.

Not sure if I am convinced we would have had the flurry of recent signings if it wasn't for the protests.

It is up to the leaders of Rangers sites like this to, as Frankie says "become more constructive in highlighting the issues in the way the club is run"

I am totally convinced the protest on websites and the threat of protests at Ibrox helped bring in the players we have now signed. I have no problem with protests as long as they are peaceful.

I am truely astounded by this post.

I dont have a problem with people posting but if it is neds turning up to just mouth off then that will never be taken seriously and actually does a favour for those who are being protested against.

Going out of europe was a nightmare and not buying a midfield until its too late was silly, but at the same time it could be the kick up the backside that was needed to win the league.

I remember back in 94/95 when in the space of a week we lost the first OF game, got knocked out of the league cup and knocked out of europe by AEK Athens - we still went onto win the league that season. So bascially IMO i wouldnt have protested until the end of this season if we didnt win the league.
