Strachan sees English implosion

I can see this also. Too many clubs are raising the bar with wages, eventually it will spread out and staying in the top league will be the only means of survival yet 3 HAVE to go down every year. And its not easy getting straight back up.

Also the likes of Chelsea and Man City could make Leeds look a success if the owners walk away.

liverpool are in a mess also, they have a 350million loan to the RBS who have just lost billions.

I dont know where Newcastle and Spurs keep finding 10-20 million here and there.

There will be a few good exceptions of well run clubs and Wengers policy of not spending might not look too bad after all.

A lot will depend on how much money they secure in TV/Advertising sponsorship next time around.

Sky subscriptions are falling....longer the country stays in this state people will start to think twice about paying £50+ a month for Sky etc.

They got 2 Billion last time from Sky/Setanta...500m Overseas right...140m for MOTD highlights plus Barclays sponsorship of the league.
