I dont know. They couldn't get throw in or corner decisions right.
Nor free kicks
The Goldson tackle where he clearly won the ball was unreal

It would be a start to give people roles on the field of play and they stick to it. Far too often Arfield, Aribo and Kent are all over the place, appear here and there and no-one is actually pulling the strings or knowing where he would find these chaps.
Hagi is a clever ball distributor with some attacking skill. He needs someone for protection too, but if you then have a couple of strikers and two real wingers that he can aim at, we should be getting some rewards.
For Wednesday, I'd go ...
McGregor
Polster - Goldson - Edmundson - Barasic
Jack
Stewart - Hagi - Jones
Kamberi - Kent
... unless SG thinks Morelos or Defoe can start straight away. Leave Kent and Hagi with some freedom to operate just behind the main striker then. The back four's main job is to keep a clean sheet and occasionally foray forward. Jack the enforcer in midfield. Once Kent and/or Hagi tire, throw on Aribo.
I'd be tempted to throw in Big Wes as well to show no one is undroppable.

People saying just like last year..... if it wasnt for the Braga distraction most would be saying it's even worse. One things for sure is he hasn't learnt from last years trip away and the same situation after the winter break next year is unthinkable. Leave Dubai, and get them up north for proper winter training. Tougher them up

I also complained to the BBC, here is the generic response in full. To my knowledge Stewart made no apology himself.
Thanks for contacting us regarding Michael Stewart’s comments on Sportsound on 3 February. Please accept our apologies for the delay in replying.
As set out in the BBC’s complaints process, if others complain about the same issue, for efficiency our response to everyone may be the same. We’re sorry not to reply individually, but we hope this response addresses the points raised.
On Sportsound on 4 February the programme carried the following apology and acknowledgement that the previous evening’s programme did not meet our editorial values and standards:
“We apologise to James Traynor for the discussion on Sportsound last night. It was not fair and balanced and he did not have the opportunity to respond.
“On this occasion we did not adhere to our editorial values and standards and we have reminded those concerned of their responsibility to follow our guidelines while working for the BBC.”
BBC Sport Scotland has also released the following statement:
“Following Sportsound on Monday February 3rd we have clearly explained the BBC editorial guidelines around fairness and accuracy to Michael Stewart. We expect our pundits to be forthright, but fair. Michael agrees with this. On that basis Michael is now available for selection for Sportscene and Sportsound.”
We trust this addresses your concerns, and thank you again for taking the time to get in touch.

I don’t like Manchester United but I can’t deny that they’re top end.
Amazing to see that they are 5th and they've won less than half the games Liverpool have and just over half the points ..... and our league gets slated for the points gaps.

Recon we could see Bournemouth take something from a deflated Chelsea this weekend.

See Dillian Whyte bumping his gums again. Fury should just fight him, do him in 4 rounds and let him fight amongst the likes of Price and Chisora

Never the SFAs fault though .......

Also considering the study was completed on retired footballers using heavier balls than the ones we use today it's a touch rash.
Essentially, players over 12 will need to be over coached to compensate for the lack of technique. Might as well do away with corners as well. Games going to absolute shit.

Can't say I've ever heard of him. Be interesting to see how their style changes.

Still haven't seen any further explanation of this.

We may do if the rumours about Tav being out are true.
To Newcastle ?
I think Tavs crossing, set pieces and decision making have been a real disappointment this season. Still wouldn't like to see him go.

Like last year, we have got ourselves into a title winning position at the break. What happened last year should act as a warning to us that it only gets tougher the closer you get to the finish, and the time to starta run of victories is now.
Our league fixtures up to the split are;
St Mirren H
Hearts A
Ross County H
Dolly H
Hibs H
Killie A
Livvy H
St Johnstone A
Hamilton H
Ross Cty A
Bheasts H
St Mirren A
Motherwell H
With one game still to be rearranged (I think its St Johnstone at home)
Hearts away, Dolly & Bheasts at home apart (all traditionally difficult games), these SHOULD all be fairly straightforward victories, but only IF we avoid the complacency and loss of form to several players that befell us last January-March and ruined our season at the same time that the bheasts managed to kick on and put a run of victories together. We have managed to put in a much improved first half of the season, but so did our title rivals, so who hits the ground running on the resumption will go a long way to deciding the outcome of the title.
I agree no unfit players joining the squad and being played immediately. A cup game to dust off the cobwebs before getting into league action. Much better position that last year and the bheasts have 7 out of 9 of their next games away from home.

2 games less, improved goal difference of +15 and I have to say a better squad.
It's looking good for 55.

From what I've seen of him he seems like a no nonsense guy willing to get stuck in. Would really like to see more of him.
