I'm hoping Dessers will be sold in the Summer and Danilo and A N Other are our options
I dont hold any hope that Danilo is any better than Dessers.

Good win, seen some of it. Munn looks a decent keeper. Stevens looked good. Curtis and Nsio too.

When I said 'bear fruit' I was referring to our first team. We can make the academy work for us in other ways.
I suppose its your definition of that then. You could argue Ross McCausland has added value to us this season.

The requirements at Rangers mean the youth set-up will never bear much fruit nowadays.
We'll get lucky once in a while (Nathan Patterson) but usually we'll get shafted (Gilmour) because, either way, we can't compete with EPL clubs.
Thing is a Nathan Patterson, Allan Hutton, Barry Ferguson, Allan McGregor, Charlie Adam in the past 25 years all make it worth while.
We've made around 1 million from Gilmour and Rory Wilson before they kicked a ball for us, with hindsight we should have done the same with King and Lowry when the big EPL teams were sniffing. We probably made a few quid on Lewis Mayo and Ross Mcrorie too.
On the flip side we have invested heavily in the likes of Tony Weston, Archie Stevens and Zak Lovelace with Stevens and Lovelace about to walk at the end of the year for development fee's.
Maybe the path forward for us is punting promising 16 year olds down south and churning out lots of small wins rather than whale hunting for a Ferguson or a Patterson.

Is there not some sort of requirement for us to have a youth academy?
UEFA requirement to play in Europe

It seems that some who attend the youth games regularly weren't too impressed by Jacobs.
I follow him on Instagram and it looked like he just spent his 3 years here travelling around Europe doing PowerPoint presentations.
Obviously that's not indicative of what he did while he was at the training center 9-5 but its all I have to go on.

It was a scandalous decision by Walsh. It was an accidental collision with no intent.
If anything it was a foul by the st Mirren player who ran into Butland long after he played the ball

I'm not surprised - have you seen the injury list? It's worse than ours.

That Butland decision 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Can’t believe this refereeing tbh, so one sided just like last week. St Mirren allowed to be over physical but we make any kind of contact and it’s a foul

A gift but I’ll take it.
Keeper and defender thought they were playing for Rangers for a minute

Any believe it’s only just past 70 mins this feels like the longest game ever.

We don't look up for if at all. Really disappointing first half.
What's with the balls being flat? Same thing happened at Dens.
Going through the motions. Garbage

Are Feyenoord sniffing about? Interesting.
Sell him or, bring him home so he can lead the line to push us to a quadruple?
