  1. Fraser.... for all the "we beat Czechs at home" you mention there are as many instances where we have been, simply, DIRE during Levein's stewardship.

    Czech Republic away - mince.

Liechtenstein home - mince. Liechtenstein FFS, at HOME, needing a couple of late, one VERY late, goal.

Sorry but I just cant muster the same expectation that winning the next 3 games will be done. Even if we did make the play-offs it wouldnt make much difference because we would be highly unlikely to get through the play off.

I dont think we will make the play offs.

What about our most recent game ?

  2. But it won't be done especially with his crazy formations and tactics!

Levien has already defeated the Czechs at Hampden. Lithuania away i think we put in a good performance and should take care of them at home Two home games in a row to come, win them and we will be full of confidence going to Lichtenstein.

  3. I have just realised today the amount of injuried or knocks we have :(

Webster, Edu, Beattie & Jelavic have injuries

Weiss, Bougherra, Lafferty, Papac & Broadfoot all have knocks that are making them struggle in games or sit them out.

Really worrying. Good to see Fleck back playing though, hopefully our players return quick !

  4. No they're not.

That'll be the same 1st picks struggled to beat Lichtenstein. It was embarrasing!

Pushed the world champions all the way. I didn't want Levien in charge, but give him the campaign. We havea brilliant chance, win our next 3 euro games and we should be in the playoffs. Can be done.

  5. Brilliant display.

True about Mr Lamb who shouted out c'mon you reds about 2 secs before then end of the minutes silence. Seriously though, Mr Lamb before the game goes to Mr Sheep, am goona shout ooot beforrrr the mins silence. Mr Sheep, aye Lamby that is a quality idea.

Then the cards rained down on them !

  6. If you know someone with a season ticket ask them to get you one, think it is £10 this saturday if a season ticket holder buys an extra ticket

Apologies, this is from the official site

As a thank you to season ticket holders for their continued support, Rangers would like to offer all season holders the chance to bring a friend or family member to the Aberdeen SPL clash at Ibrox this Saturday at a reduced price!

If you're a season ticket holder, you can bring one adult or one concession to see the Light Blues in action against Aberdeen this Saturday, kick-of 3pm, and save up to £9!

Match tickets for this game are normally priced at £26 for adults and £14 for concessions and kids - however as a season ticket holder, you can buy an adult ticket for £20, saving £6, or a concession or child ticket for £5 - saving £9!

Please note you can only purchase one reduced ticket per season ticket from the ticket hotline on 0871 702 1972* (option 1 then 2) or from Rangers Ticket Centre*. Only season ticket holders can purchase the discounted match ticket for the Rangers v Aberdeen game - please remember to have your Rangers number handy.

  7. I highly doubt we will see many changes, maybe one or two. Smith will be thinking to get through the enxt 3 games then the players will have a rest. Also we played on Tuesday and our game isn't until sunday, plenty of time.

Always get it hard away to St Mirren.

    :am:

    :sw: :mb: :sp: :kb:

    :sn: :sd: :lm: :jf:

    :km: :kl:

If Weir is getting a rest then i can see Papac at centre back as he has been playing there in europe.

  8. I know there is coaches and trains coming up. I am not sure about the coaches but i know that the fans coming up on the trains are being collected by coaches from Glasgow Central then taking them somewhere to collect tickets and then coached to the game.

Will post more when i get more information.

Hopefully this will stop the casuals, or will it ?

  9. Weekend date now which is brilliant, better for attendances.

I remember last year, semi final v st johnstone, snowing wednesday night :( not good !

Especially with 4 of the big teams in it, attendances should be good

RANGERS will play their Co-operartive Insurance Cup semi-final on a weekend breaking with recent tradition.

For years the semi-finals of the League Cup competition have taken place in midweek and fans were expecting a February 1 and February 2 date this season.

However, the matches will be played oin Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30 after the SPL clubs called for weekend dates this season after discusions in February.

Rangers will learn their fate today at 2.30pm when the draw is made at Hampden. Aberdeen, Celtic and Motherwell lie in wait in the last four in what is the final year of Co-operative Insurance's sponsorship of the tournament.

The weekend semi-finals means that the schedued SPL fixture on January 29 - Inverness Caley Thistle at home - will now need to be moved.

An SFL spokesman said: "Weekend semi-fnals is something we have wanted to do for some time now but the SPL clubs were always against it.

"However, when we had discussions in February this year the clubs said they were n favour of weekend games."

If Rangers and Celtic are not drawn together then both semi-finals will be played at Hampden. BBC Scotland have rights for live coverage of one semi-final and with the FA Cup 4th round on ESPN and ITV that weekend scheduling might be tricky.

  10. Never got going last night, probably down to the changes in the team. Wylde impressed again, attacks the full back and whips in a cracking ball. Weiss was causing bother on the other side but lacking the final pass and/or shot. Kilmarnock had a good few chances, more than us but we have the better quality to put our chances away.

    Little's goal was a fantastic strike !!

So to sum it up, my Killie pie was fantastic :)

  11. Adrenalin takes you through a long european away trip. Once the adrenalin begins to wear off you'll be dead on your feet or your arse if you're on the plane.

Barcelona away we arrived day before the game, slept about 2 hours that night, out to all hours, had a couple hours kip then up. The day of the game was brilliant, but after it we went for a pint, a few of us headed for our kip and a few stayed out. I went to my kip, was absolutely knackered.

Manchester away, brilliant day, coach journey back home was long and tiring.

Valencia will be fab again until after the game.

  12. Anyone from here going ?

I'm going on the tc flight

    Valencia CF v Rangers
