That is actually out of the equation. Before the oldco is liquidated, the assets (including history et al) are being transferred to the newco. This is just a business matter, not a club matter.

 

This is what HMRC says to the matter:

The SFA are not obliged to transfer the membership from the oldco to the newco, so yes, it is a club matter.

The club what's you make it CJ, it will still be the same Rangers I watch, just because some wee Mhank or some business prick tells me it's a different club and I'm not watching Rangers but The Rangers. I couldn't give 2 flying f#^ks what they think as long as we are playing at Ibrox and wearing Royal Blue it will be my Rangers, and in a generations time my grandkids will be watching their Rangers. Yes you are right but that is your opinion. Other people have a different opinion. I totally agree we should all respect the Queen whether we support her or not. She has only tried to do her best for the country. I personally agree with you but there are other things going like when thousands are losing their job every day, should we be paying millions for a few days celebration for the Queen. I am not against her but there are issues where I think is this all necessary.

The millions being spent on the celebrations are also helping to boost the economy, it's not as if it's all going down the drain.
