Whatever budget we had, I for one was not looking for it to be blown on ' Marquee Signings ' for our midfield which was young, and a bit more coaching re positioning , would have been fine for this season at least.
Surely, but surely, Mr Warburton saw that we needed two hard, intelligent centre halves first and foremost - other sides even in Scotland - seem to address this no problem.
Barton or Halliday ? Kranjcar or Forrester ? Hill or .........My Granny ( if she wisnae deid already ) !
All of the pace has gone from our game this season, the world and his wife can see why, every opposition set piece all around me in BF4 collectively fear the worst - not acceptable.
No, boss we are not 'in a good place' so earn your wages and fix it.
Not excusing the lack of investment, general malaise of our new board.....but that is for another day!

Towards the end of last season we were shipping goals at an alarming rate. Falkirk, Raith & hibz all managed to put three past us on at least one occasion.
Above all else what we needed close season was two CB's better than what we had. What we got was a 38 year old and a whole load of squad players before we got Senderos which was a panic signing if ever I saw one.
Until we get things sorted out at the back we will struggle to make top six let alone top three or second place
Rab, 100% with you on this. It is time the love - in with the management team ended.
There can be no excuse for ignoring our defensive frailties - we all saw them even last season. The defence should have been the priority during the 'window'.
We all knew this, but it obviously wasn't important in the grand plan A .
Now we reap the results of the failures of 'Plan A' .

The score is indeed an embarrassing one. I have to go to work on Sunday! Why is our defence so thick / cowardly? Who is responsible and just why is it so? Truth be told, I wouldn't have been that upset at a close defeat given the circumstances but our defensive performance was nothing short of pathetic yet again. Sickening. We are Rangers, we have survived with some class everything that could be thrown at us - rewarded with THAT!

Should I take it as given then that the SFA will be able to guarantee Waldo's safety this time, under their watch?
Perhaps Rangers should inform Strachan that Lee is not available atm due to not being of the' neccessary frame of mind regarding his 'personal safety' and to refer to the SFA for any further details.
Won't happen, board too busy 'building bridges' with these areseholes, but I think they should!

Again mention no of Rangers on the STV sports news, all about C****c/Hearts/Hibs/Raith/DUTD..................you would think the league leaders playing tonight would be worth a mention in the sports section?, BBC news was the same, but they only spoke about C****c and the CL!,you would think they wanted to promote the Scottish game?.
Nice to see Dodoo starting .
Bit peeved that Miller is starting and not Garner - tho usually if I spend my energies slagging off either Kenny or Waghorn they end up hitting the winner!
So - in advance - ''ffs Miller your drifting too deep man, your too wide man, your meant to be a striker ffs....................GOAL ! Kenny Miller!

My first post, just a comment really so .... It seems that PNE as a club, their manager, and the fans are very, very sorry to see Joe Garner go. Going by his You Tube clips coupled with their sorrow I feel he is going to be massive for us. The real fearless centre forward we haven't had for a very long time. He's a player who really excites me already.
