Smith said: "I would hope that Madjid would be back for us tomorrow night. He has been training with us for the last few days but I just felt that Saturday was too soon for him. "We put him on the bench against St Mirren because we had no other defenders but I feel the time is right now for him to come back in. "This would allow Steven Whittaker to move back to a more normal position. I don't think we can speak highly enough of his consistency this season.
