Zappa 0 Posted August 17, 2012 Share Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) Folks, No doubt some of you will have noticed that our "Rangers News Feeds" sub-forum hasn't been working properly pretty much ever since Craig Whyte took over and the company maintaining and updating the official Rangers site was changed. We were getting the RSS feeds coming through, however they were linking you to the new articles, but on the old site from before the Whyte era instead of the new (now old) site. Well anyway, now that the club have ditched the design company and taken the Rangers website in-house and created a new site, all of the old threads in the Rangers News Feeds sub-forum here on Gersnet were basically useless as they just contained a short description and a broken link, so they've all now been removed. The new Rangers site has some RSS feed functionality for the official news articles and I've now set up this feed in the Rangers News Feeds sub-forum, but please note that there looks to be some teething problems due to the way the RSS feed has been set up on the new Rangers site. In the meantime, we'll get the news articles feeding in there, but there may well be some formatting issues at times which is outwith our control. Cheers!
