Rangers Chief Executive Charles Green said: â??On this significant day our thoughts are with the families of the 96 people who lost their lives, the survivors and the Liverpool supporters. â??It is completely unimaginable that 96 people could attend a football match and never return home and I know the Rangers family feel the same following the loss of 66 Rangers supporters who lost their lives in the 1971 Ibrox Disaster. â??Rangers and Liverpool fans have a strong bond as they have united to commemorate the tragedies that have sadly marked the history of both clubs.
