Anyone ever been there?

Looks like loads of hotels along the seafront and a bustling town behind.

What sort of reception can we expect from the locals and are there pubs like we would call pubs?

So many questions.

Been there many a time mate.

What you wanting to know?

Locals are all very friendly and about 80% speak english fluently with an american accent so easy to communicate with etc,

Not so many pubs as such, more restaurant/bars as big drinkings not really a big thing over there.

The seafront is the main tourist area, and thats where most of the bears will hang about i reckon - miles of beach promenade with hotels and restaurants lining the way.

Beautiful place and not all that expensive tbh.

Anything else you need to know just ask!

Cheers for that Rino.

We are going Tuesday to Friday and i've been searching the web to try and get a feel for the place but its not that easy as most of the sites are basic touristy things.

I was looking more for a 'rough guide' type view of the place.

February would seem to be out of season so the prices appear to be ok.

Any idea how far the stadium is from the city centre and would taxi's be the best bet?

I looked at that one and its coming in at £56 per twin room with asiarooms.com

Would that be about right?
