Update! The Restoration of Rangers Graves Project.John Wallace McKay and Archibald Harkness.

Recommended Posts

John Wallace McKay was Match Secretary of Rangers Football Club from 1882-1883.

Earlier this afternoon his stone at Dunoon cemetery was cleaned and a memorial plaque placed.

Archibald Harkness was President of Rangers in 1881 and was a huge influence during his tenure at the Club.Tragically after contracting typhoid he passed at only 26 years of age.

Unfortunately due to the condition of the stone we were unable to bring it up as much as we’d wished but a memorial plaque was laid at his final resting place in Kilmun.
