  1. yeah his contribution has been so poor for 3 years we would have been as well pissing his wage money up against a wall.

Quite possibly Rangers worst ever signing imo.

  2. Do you know what George Galloway said(not that it really matters as he is nothing but a fat hypocritical scumbag) about Wenger on Eduardo's dive and Wenger backing him?

"Arsene Wenger has outstayed his welcome in this country. Anyone who stands behind a cheat and backs him to the hilt should be thrown out the country".

So, George, on the issue of Tony Mowbray standing behind the cheat Aiden McGeedy, what have you to say on this?

  3. There was clearly NO contact on that.

Now all the ones in the S.F.A who sat upon their ivory towers judging Eduardo are going to have to be consistent or have egg all over their faces.

I am going to keep track of this to see who comes out with the biggest two-face from it.:admin:

  4. He's only worth 12m quid within the realms of Parkheid.

As soon as he walks out the door there he is worth half that at most. i think they must think that if they say he is worth 12m, he will actually be worth 12m quid.

Sorry Moga, it doesnt work like that.

  5. Will write something a bit more worthwhile when I have more time. Very worthwhile thread imo though. Could shape our season.

It may be even worse for the scum though SA. Remember they are still in europe, albeit the 'diddy cup':fish:

But they play a hard game on the Thursday before the First old firm game on 4thOctober(think its the Israelis).

So, they will have less time to prepare.

  6. I mentioned that Bain said this at the end of the week but it appears to have been overlooked. Not good news. No new CB is scandalous imo.

Not so SA. I noted it and vaguely replied on your subject:thup:

Does it have to be a new owner. Does this new Chairman not have some cash to bring to the table since he has the job of basically looking to straighten the finances?

Or am i basing him more on an autonomist chairman like Abramovich?

Or, am i showing signs of desperation!!!!

  7. I think it's only fair that the whole world calls McGeedy a cheat, the same way as the whole world were forced to call Eduardo a cheat for exactly the same thing.

I mean it won't be fair to punish one and not punish the other right?

So, McGeedy should be standing right behind Eduardo when the punishments are being delved out ok!

  8. Good replys lads.

It's looking like the fair concensus is to be rid of him and try to forget it.

And i agree wholeheartedly with all your comments on his bad habits and poor play.

However, it is still very annoying to watch someone TRY when they stopped trying for a club he was supposed to support and who paid him a fortune and nurtured him.

I also agree with the poster who said it was a bit of a bad deal getting virtually nowt for the likes of Gow, Furman, Burke and Adam.

If it were down to me and i was in theat club i'd find out who was behid the deal on behalf of Rangers and sack their ass. Completely lousy and again just looks like Rangers have been panicking trying to get shot of players to get the wage bill down.

  9. In a few of the Tabloids today therea a couple of interviews with Bain. He more or less says the neew chairman will not bring a magic wand and it is doubtful anyone will be added in this transfew window.

Thats a big shame as we will lose a few to injury and i doubt we will be able to keep winning with an even more depleted side than we have the now.

I knid of agree with Calscots last post saying it looks like we are going to go with a reduced squad for the season to get the money down in one go.

However noble that may be, it is commiting Football suicide and i therefore doubt we will win more than one trophy this season.

Which one will it be though? Anyones guess right now.

As for Andy Webster, as far as i know Rangers can cancel the loan at anytime and recall him to the Rangers squad, unless Utd have already agreed a fee for after his loan spell finishes, and i very much doubt those tramps will have done that.

  10. Thats the second 0-0 at Home by those guys now, and both opposition have been very poor.

I'm getting more and more convinced we could take them at home if we stay away from injuries etc.

  11. I haven't a scooby what's going on but I'm sure I could develop a credible agrument and pretend I did. Give me the platform of a national newspaper and a BBC radio show and I guarantee I could have most of the audience convinced I know but can't say.

Name me one sports journalist in Scotland who doesn't play this game. usually, the less they actually say the greater the inference that they do.

In your wildest dream do you honestly nelieve Murray confides in any journalist when it comes to his business affairs? All Murray has done is manipulate the press and broadcast media to cultivate some sympatheic publicity and take everyone's eyes of his real intentions. That's not being sneaky, it's just a sensible precaution.

Murray started off being good for Rangers, followed by a long period of increasingly aimless decline. If it had been the other way around, I'd have no problem with him. But whatever I think of the need for him to get out of Rangers, I don't think he's about to let low grade monkeys like Traynor into his plans, no matter how flattered Traynor might be to think it's otherwise.

    Very well put point.

  12. I fail to see why getting 4 points out of 6 against a top German side is a likely scenario.

Lehmann, Boulahrouz, BaştÃ?¼rk, Hitzlsperger, Hleb etc.

We have continually gotten good results against German teams and i see no reason why it should change.

The fact is, i think they always underestimate us. I notices when they drew Stuttgart out the Stuttgart reps all smiled and shook hands, maybe again because they fancy their chances against us already.

Those names you put up are not World class and we should not fear them.

Lehman is good, but extremely prone to blunders and nearly past it.

Boulharouz is an almighty underachiever and prone to losing the head. But on his day is a top defender.

Basturk is another underachiever. He had the ability to really do it at a bigger club than where he ended up and this is maybe his standard. He also goes missing in a lot of games and only seems to fancy it on his terms.

Hitzelsberger i like, but again, he can float in and out of games. But deadly if you let him into it.

Hleb is the only name i really fear. I saw one of his goals in the first leg of the qualifier they played and it was incredible. We need to stay tight on him.

  13. I have been watching with interest a lot of the Championship in England. More than anything it is because of my beloved Scunthorpe.

However, i like watching all the other teams and i think most of the teams have very high quality players in there that Rangers should be tapping up.

Anyway, i noted the magnificent progress of Scotland reserves, erm i mean Cardiff City and an old name in particular keeps popping up with assist after assist and good attacking play and trickery.

I for one feel Cardiff city must be thinking they have got an absolute cracker for nowt.

So, with that in mind, was it a mistake to sell him given that we need a flair player to hold up the ball, start attacks, whip down the wings throwing deadly balls in, and generally take the piss out the oppsition.

I was at Chris Burkes first team debut against Killie? when he beat about 4 players on the right wing and thumped into the net.

At that time i thought we had cracked it with the youth players. But i'm not sure why he never continued on from there because he certainly has the ability and has shown that, albeit, in dribs and drabs.

Should we have let him go, especially now we see another team benefiting from one of our youth products?

  14. Did anyone hear that fud Charlie Nicholas and his condescending tones with his so called 'expert opinions' going on about how we are "a team who has not improved" and how we "can't affoard to give Walter Smith a new contract" and we are "solely in the Champions league for the money"

    What a fucking wanker.

How would you know what is going on in the corridors of Ibrox ya fandan????:flipa:

  15. ....A very likely scenario=

    Stuttgart (a) 1-1

    Stuttgart (h) 2-1

    Sevilla (a) 0-2

    Sevilla (h) 1-1

    Urzicena (a) 0-0

    Urzicena(h) 2-0

Total points= 9 points and qualification into last 16

    ....BEST possible scenario=

    Stuttgart(a) 1-1

    Stuttgart(h) 2-1

    Sevilla(a) 1-1

    Sevilla(h) 2-1

    Urzicena (a) 2-0

    Urzicena (h) 3-0

Total points= 14 points and qualification to last 16

    ....Worst possible scenario

    Stuttgart(a) 0-2

    Stuttgart(h) 1-1

    Seville(a) 0-3

    Sevilla(h) 0-1

    Urzicena (a) 1-0

    Urzicena(h) 1-0

Total points = 7 points and qualification into europa league final stages.

Doesn't look too bad in my mind at the moment. But that might change if our form fluctuates and we get injuries.

I am not underestimating the Romanions as they will be very hostile away, but we really should be gubbing that.

By the way, does anyone have the dates for all our games yet?
