The SPL Champions and Homecoming Scottish Cup Winners have also teamed up with custom browser specialists Brand Thunder to create a unique themed browser experience that offers supporters the chance to update their Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers with distinctive club branding.

The new Rangers browser theme will utilise exclusive pictures and video content from the recently revamped http://www.rangers.co.uk and is delivered through a small download called a Boom! which does much more than provide a visual takeover of the browser.

Booms! feature breaking news in the integrated toolbar, multimedia in the sidebar, easy access to all things Rangers and is available to download from http://www.rangers.co.uk.

Rangers Chief Executive Martin Bain said: "We are delighted to announce the launch of the Rangers Apple App and the Rangers web browser. The club recently unveiled a pioneering online TV station - RangersTV.tv - and we are leading the way once again in this field.

"Our supporters have a huge appetite for news and these two new ventures, allied to our existing club media platforms, allow them to stay in touch with the club night and day."

  2. TANNADICE booking leaves McCulloch on verge of SPL ban

LEE McCULLOCH'S booking against Dundee United means he could now just be one yellow card from an SPL suspension.

Sasa PapacThe midfielder was a standout in last night's 3-0 win at Tannadice but blotted his copybook for a foul in the first half.

It was McCulloch's sixth caution of the season and his fifth in the league, meaning he has moved up to 15 disciplinary points.

With most bookable offences being worth three points, it is likely that one more would incur a one-match ban.

Sasa Papac also collected his sixth yellow card of the season on Tayside and his fourth in the championship.

But the Bosnian defender has only accrued 11 points to date, meaning he's still a minimum of three cautions from finding himself suspended for a league game.

  5. BAIN responds to Dundee United Chairman's comments

IN response to comments made by Dundee United's Chairman Stephen Thompson earlier today with regard to tickets for next Tuesday's re-arranged match Rangers Chief Executive Martin Bain said:

"After being accused that I used the AGM as a platform to criticise Dundee United and cover up the Club's issues, the reality is that the volume of complaints and the tremendous ill feeling that was Martin Bainbeing vented towards Dundee United's decision was a matter that simply could not be ignored.

"It is very disappointing as our position could not have been made clearer at every stage since the game was called off.

"There is obviously written correspondence between the Clubs that confirms this.

"I deeply resent the suggestion that I misled shareholders at our AGM. That is wrong and offensive and I will be taking the matter further.

"I still maintain that football fans have been considered last by this decision."

Andy Kerr, President of the Rangers Supporters Assembly said: "I have been party to all representations made by Rangers to Dundee United.

"What they are now suggesting is completely out of order and the Rangers supporters know the truth of what happened here.
