  1. Some of the boys I know that played for his age group with us told me he was a cracking player! Sadly not seen anything of him yet though but heard so many good things.

Hopefully that is him over his injuries at least for a good while and he can concentrate properly on the football.

Very interesting and even moreso if they drop points against Motherwell as Mowbray won his next game....

  3. We had a pretty poor start to the SPL under Walter the season before last with 4 draws (including 2 at home) and a loss up in Aberdeen in our first 12 games, meaning we dropped 11 out of 36 points.

I do remember we had 3 0-0 draws in a row with 3 sending offs in that sequence. I still feel that this game is crucial otherwise people will get on Ally's back, probably Walter was slightly under pressure in that sequence a couple of seasons ago but a rookie gets it a whole lot tougher.

The thing though was that Walter had the experience to turn it around. He also wasn't under as much pressure as the majority had faith in him. A poor result today followed by another during the week and it could turn into another PLG season.

I have faith in Ally though and know we will start to play.

  4. Well thanks to the staff that run this site then! It's a good wee forum and the discussion on here is 100x better than FF or RM. Sometimes things may come here slower but I like that the forum still has it's 'exclusives' in a way!

p.s see if I pay some money can I become a staff member? :flash:

    p.p.s congrats Gazza!! :wanker:

  5. It's been two minutes since we won the league man!

lol it was dreadful last season aswell! Winning the league at least ment it was worth it in the end.

    --------------

Truly and utterly gutless performance tonight! Did we even have a plan tonight? Pass it around the midfield, then pass it back, launch it upto Jelavic, lose the ball, run back to our 6 yard box, win the ball, launch it upto no1, win the ball, repeat x20000000000000000000000

  6. Very disappointing first half, we were very lucky to only be 1 down going in. Much improvement in the 2nd half and could have easily won it with the chances provided!

Although McCoist should have brought Wylde on for Ortiz I was happy he at least seen something and swapped Davis and Naismith which opened things up for us!

All in all it's a marathon not a sprint and we can only get better, I think we were too late going into pre-season and it showed today as it took us far too long to get into the game.

Hopefully this will put the management into hurrying some of the transfers through as it is oblivious that we need new faces in and to sort that defence out! Broadfoot as CH just fills me with dread and hopefully the Cuellar deal can go through.

At the end of the day it was a fair result against a very good Hearts team and with a few key players missing I think we handled ourselves ok.
