  1. Another day of refreshing twitter, reading crap sightings & waiting.

For me I honestly feel like this because it's a big name player. We've not really had this for so long so I think we're all a bit feverish lol

Yet again, well done to the board/management for getting us excited about both the football and taking aim (via legal methods) at those who sought to bring us down.

  2. He would be a great piece of business from a footballing perspective. As good as we could have hoped for as a footballer and would be the experience and dig we need in midfield.

This signing will spoil us and have us expecting more of the same.... I just hope we temper expectations.

Yeah I know, I just won't believe it until he's confirmed by Rangers. Would be brilliant if they did it to coincide with a certain other announcement. Quite an up yours to the journos (IF he has signed)

  3. A woman on there saying it was Rangers fault for not getting their players off quicker!,Hibs fans over exuberance

right because we should have teleported Foderingham from the Hibs supporters end goals eh

  4. See. this whole argument falls over for several reasons.

    1. If you are going to cite previous occasions where Rangers fans haven't behaved impeccably, you are saying that behaviour is wrong. So either that behaviour is wrong ALL the time, or none of the time. The law is not to be applied selectively.

    2. The fact there are those trying to deflect the attacks on our players is absolutely incredible. By continuing to go with line of Hibs just wanna have fun etc they are effectively saying it is open season on players/backroom staff.

I'm also a little incredulous to have not heard Tom English use his favourite 'whataboutery' reply in response to other club fans/zealots.

I quite often try to err on the side of caution when it comes to journos/bias etc but this incident has well and truly opened my eyes.

  5. I'm so pleased out board put out a strong statement. Incredible silence from a government who have been so keen to criminalise football fans for singing, but when players going about their job get attacked - nothing.

I really feel for Wes, he was furthest away. It's an absolute disgrace the numbers that got on so fast. Terrible security.

  6. That's the way it looks to me, longer term.

What I don't understand is why wait until now to do this? Why wasn't the agreement with RRL terminated before now?

I would also expect the legal teams have been working overtime on this. If you are going to make such a bold move you make sure you don't end up with egg on your face. It has to be watertight. It's also after the end of all the litigation by SD - where they have LOST significantly.

One could also argue it takes the heat off the team right before an important Cup Final that could see us back in European Football.

By the end of it, this could be an incredibly successful week. IF we qualify for Europe, the merch sales will rocket (as they will anyway since we've all been starved of it for so long).

Lets remember, King offered Ashley the chance to renegotiate. He spent time trying to get a more reasonable deal and Ashley's response was to chase King through the courts repeatedly. I can only imagine the big cheesy grin on King's face when he knew this could work.

  7. 2 MIKE ASHLEY turned troll in his ongoing war with Rangers this afternoon when his Sports Direct firm splashed the new CELTIC kit across the top of their website's homepage.

The company, whose controversial retail deal with Rangers is to be torn-up by the Ibrox club, were also offering cut price Gers strips with the tag 'Must Go'.

The Celtic promotion was accompanied by the words 'Like No Other'. "

    This is AMAZING! :)

  8. But it's not SD we've given notice to, it is Rangers Retail. My feeling is there must be a loophole they've found, whereby they can remove the rights from RR. The SD deal technically still stands, but they won't have anything to sell if they don't have the rights.

I have a feeling THIS is why we paid back the £5mil and since then we've making sure we are watertight.

Be funny if all the other court cases proved to just be useful distractions!
