  1. is it upto him to sign it though? why are only liewell and doncaster having official spl relevant talks with them?
  2. do you think green knows about the viewing figures showing us as having the largest viewing audience by some distance and do you think sky are also aware of this? i wonder if they mentioned it to peter liewell in their private talks.
  3. reading that article it seems it just about a done deal mate. just a matter of crossing the t's and dotting the i's.
  4. i doubt he will be working for nothing mate. we do seem to be shelling out some amount of money on off the pitch stuff.
  5. euro 92 he was sensational.
  6. that book gets rewritten when it suits them.
  7. oh god, when you put it like that. hell no!!
  8. i wonder if ally would rather the wage be spent on a player or two.
  9. when have our club or fans ever been truly ambitious? this is not about ambition, this is about running away from scottish football.
  10. huge pinch of salt needed. i fully expect titles to be stripped or the word "cheats" to be thrown at our club in some way. this is celtics last attack on us. there is nothing left they can throw at us.
  11. i dont think there is any doubt it is being done out of out and out hatred mate. our problem is we cannot do anything about it.
  12. i disagree. we are scottish, we belong here, this is our home and this is where we should stay. i am not one for cowaring away. our enemy wants a fight, lets give them one.
  13. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/3241-brian-in-green-talks BRIAN LAUDRUP is in talks with chief executive Charles Green about rejoining Rangers as a club ambassador. The Light Blues legend, 44 next month, was back in Glasgow today to meet the Yorkshireman at Ibrox for discussions. It was the first time the pair had met and their 90-minute meeting was extremely productive as they exchanged views on how Gers will move forward. You can see a full interview with the Dane on his anticipated appointment on RangersTV.tv, the club’s official television channel, tonight. Laudrup, clearly impressed by what he heard, said: “Since Rangers went into these chaotic circumstances, I have said all along that if I could help the club in any way I would do it. “I’ve been here today to speak to Charles a little bit and we’ll see if we can find a way for me to do that. “To be able to be an ambassador for Rangers Football Club would be absolutely fantastic and we want to see if we can find a way to work together.” Laudrup was a key figure during the Nine in a Row era, scoring 45 goals in 151 appearances and winning five major honours including three league titles. He scored two winners against Celtic in the 1996/97 campaign when that final championship was claimed. The winger was also the star of the 1996 Scottish Cup final when he virtually defeated Hearts on his own, scoring twice and setting up all three of Gordon Durie’s goals in a 5-1 success. Laudrup played for a number of other top European clubs including Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Fiorentina, Chelsea and Ajax in a glittering career. On top of that, he was a star performer for his country Denmark and was instrumental in both their Euro 92 victory and their run to the quarter-finals of the 1998 World Cup. Almost 15 years after leaving Rangers for Stamford Bridge, hope are high he can return after spending arguably the best period of his playing days in Scotland. After watching the club slump to the depths of administration then rise again in such stunning fashion over the last few months, Laudrup is eager to assist in whatever way he can. He added: “If the club wants me to help – and it looks like it does – I would love to do it. I have always said I had four tremendous years at Rangers. “The issue at the moment is to find a way in which I can help and it has been fantastic to meet Charles. He is a fantastic man to speak to and he has a great vision for this club. “Now we just have to sit down at some point and formalise things so that we can work together, that would be great.” click the link too guys to give the club your hits.
  14. you are better than thinking we can just up sticks and move. i have read your stuff for long enough to know you know that wont happen. why run away from it? why not tackle it head on? win the leagues, get back to the top and take over as we do. show no mercy. own scottish football once again. getting upset about something we cannot affect is pointless mate. we have no say in this. fans need to accept that.
  15. with all due respect mate, they are nobodies. they mean nothing in the grand scheme of the game in this country and the constant attacks on our club. i meant in scotland anyway. i know its not, you know its not but you will need more proof than a simple league reconstruction. our problem is we dont have enough friends around the world to help make a difference or change anything. thw whole world know about our story and scottish football, they just dont care. do you reckon this is a pr stunt to get a sponsor on board or to confirm the tv deal mate?
  16. will this now activate the bonus clauses for ahmed and green etc now that the sfl will be no more?
  17. getting upset doesnt do us any good. no one is interested in us and no one cares about us. we are on our own and on this matter, we have no say. our club are not going to go public with conspiracy theories mate because right now without proof, that is all it is, just a theory.
  18. does it not suit most sfl clubs though? the poorest ones get more games against rangers and the bigger ones have more chance of getting into the top tier.
  19. stop with this nonsense mate, i know you are better than this moving away crap. we are going nowhere. i understand fans frustrations as this season is rendered pointless but it is what it is. we just need to get on with it. i think it is pointless getting upset over this.
  20. ours are on the way down mate.
  21. i am afraid this is not something we can fight. we have no say on this matter. none whatsoever. its only being screwed in the sense there is no promotion but that is because the complete structure is changing. we will still be back in the top league in the same time frame mate.
  22. we are still at the same stage. we were dead against any favours or fast tracking. we just need to get on with it. if that means no promotion then thats the way it is. we will be back in the spl in the same space of time.
  23. dust ourselves down and get on with it. no point crying over something we cannot change. it will still take the same amount of time to get back to the top league.
  24. our youth set up is a complete embarassment for a club like rangers, its no secret.
  25. exactly mate, certain folk will be spitting feathers!
