  1. This is what an Occupation must feel like. Foreigners in control of your land and your heritage, deciding the 'laws' which apply to the rightful, natural population; a population who are left helpless and subject to daily humiliation at the hands of human dregs.

What we need is an Ibrox Intifada - A scorched earth policy; no attendance at games, no merchandise, bought until the ****s are gone. It may be better to die with some honour than live as a prostitute to Ashley's rag merchant empire.

Great line. May i use that elsewhere please mate?

  2. I'm not playing the victim, i am stating the bleeding obvious. It's there for all too see. I'm seriously out now. I'm off to bed for work. No hard feelings Zap. Apologies if you were offended in any way, was supposed to be a joke. Tmrw is another day. Hopefully we move on.

  3. i tryto put a good show on in the pub .i am sorry the speaker broke on the night, but a negitive thread will not help me in anyway .

as i said i took a fiver that night,if you whent to see jorge anywere else it would have cost at least £15

You can only do what you can do buddy. Credit to you for at least trying. Albertz was a great name to get in the door. And a fiver is peanuts. :tu:

  4. if we cant go and show our support to an event like this there is something wrong.

thats the first time i have heard a fan say he wasint popular with our fans and also a bad player,i must have been watching a different player,

he was a rangers captain or dose that not matter too you.

Didn't say he was a bad player or that he wasn't popular. We watched the same player but you read a different post.

Rangers captain. I'll give you Rangers captain. Vallance, Hamilton. Cairns, Meiklejohn, Greig, Butcher, Gough, Weir. Real Rangers captains.

  5. 2nd biggest is a million miles from 2nd best sometimes and in our case it is. If we win the Scottish Cup alone I will donate £100 to your favourite charity - promise! My money is safe though. The quadruple comment wasn't your best SC.

It's never really that far away mate. I didn't say we would win the quadruple. I didn't say we should expect to win it. I said it was a realistic ambition(and we are not going over what that means again) which it is for a club with our resources playing in this level of domestic football.

  6. We've had some big name suggestions and I was merely throwing another one into the mix because it's interesting and ambitious for numerous reasons.

Rijkaard could also no doubt work with other Dutch ex-Gers player suggestions we've already had here as his assistants.

As for your buckets comment, that's an unnecessary insult.

Rijkaard is the biggest name by a million miles i have seen mentioned, apologies if i have missed someone.

That's an insult? Away ye go.

  7. Any manager could 'flop' in those jobs he took in Turkey and Saudi, so that's pretty irrelevant.

As a manager I'd say he was successful at Barca, both domestically and in Europe and on top of the silverware he also won several notable managerial and coaching accolades.

He also has the sort of football knowledge and pedigree, plus the coaching and managerial experience and philosophies that many of our fans have been crying out for such as expansive attacking football, bringing through younger talent etc etc.

Am I being serious? Yes, absolutely. It was only the other day you were lecturing on our Club's ambitions on the pitch saying winning a domestic quadruple this season was a 'realistic ambition', so why not aim high in terms of potential managers too?

A guy like Frank Rijkaard will already be very rich indeed, so money needn't necessarily be an obstacle if he's presented with an interesting challenge.

He's had 4 jobs, failed 3 of them and been sacked in all 4. He had probably the very best Barcelona team ever, that's probably why he was successful.

Winning a domestic quadruple in Scotland for the 2nd biggest club in the country is a realistic ambition, hiring a man who's normal annual salary won't be far off our average club turnover for a 6 month period for a club on it's knees with a squad full of dross, fanbase in revolt, no money in the bank, on the brink of administration again, youths leaving in their droves and not one scout on the payroll is not a realistic ambition, it's delusional.

  8. Is there really any need for such silly name calling of the manager?

Leave that crap for our enemies who seem to revel in it please.

It's got so bad now that our enemies are now calling him Super Ally and Ally the Legend etc etc even singing his name during games. That's the ultimate humiliation.

  9. Not sure I see the logic. It's not going to come out of the director's pockets. they aren't going to be any worse of because of this decision. Perhaps Ashley may need to lend us more but he's not going to lose from it. It will just bring the sale of our assets (players or property) that bit closer.

I was being a little bit sarcastic mate hence my question mark. :)
