Remember this period. They(the youth players) were getting most of the game, and we still had Heggarty, Hutton, etc. to come. If I remember correctly , that's when the boos at the end of the games started. They just couldn't handle the chest-high tackles and how to fashion a win against the part-timers.

    Interesting that.

That was the last time Rangers LOST a league match away from Ibrox, 30 odd games ago.

  2. I'd like all Rangers fans to gather together on a forum like this and argue about things and debate sensibly.

As regards of posters posting the same thing time and time again can be boring but also if the subject of our club refers to the same thing day in day out then being boring will triumph every day.

I prefer to concentrate on the journey forward and the progress the club is making on the field and that's what I see - Progress. It really is that simple.

I only want to see Rangers up against the best in this country then take the next step and that will happen a year from now. That's all I really care about.

Slagging Ally is a very boring subject and he's another defeat away from it rising it's ugly head again.

I watched the team dismantle Raith tonight and I'm confident after being witness to it we'll probably put 'The Best Team in Scotland' to the sword on Tuesday. If we don't manage it, we'll learn from it.

  3. Raith

Looking forward to this game, crucial this early in the season. hate the international break as all true footy fans do, this'll be a good test considering our failure to beat them in 'their' cup final:confused:. Predictions to follow later in the week.:)

  4. Sometimes us Scots go 'the other way' and think pish teams in Europe are great.

If Rangers were drawn in a group like that I'd be shouting 'bring it on'

Celtic should stroll that group, if not then our game is even worse than I thought.

  5. The only way the board could significantly increase tickets sales is by signing a high quality player or two before the transfer window closes. A Cuellar or Bougherra type singing for central defense and Weiss for a skillful and creative attacking option would do the trick, but the Club can't afford it and the fans know the Club can't currently afford it, so it might not even work as a carrot.

So the 'fans' won't turn up regardless of these players you mention? That's nonsense.

We're playing in an unrecognised league, wait til next year mate.:celebrate2:

  6. Hi guys, I'm a Bearman (note spelling) been reading you guys on here for as long as I can remember and thought I'd be as well signing up.

Might not have much to say, but at least I now have that privilege.

Would like to add, I felt I got to know most of you guys on here just through reading your posts and was very saddened to hear about the passing of poster Bluebear54.

    Thanks for having me Gersnet.
