  1. psv/Wigan interested, but wigan on loan

The Dutchman looks to be on his way out at Rangers after being sent home from the club's pre-season tour for disciplinary reasons and subsequently undergoing counselling.

New Ibrox boss Paul Le Guen has urged him to find a new club, with PSV Eindhoven keen on taking Ricksen back to Holland.

With the transfer deadline just weeks away however, Wigan are keeping an eye on the situation and will look to land the versatile star on loan.

  2. ...And the fact the team in 7th place finishes below the team in 6th place but is likely to have more points - it just looks absolutely mad :)

exactly, 7th position has actually finished 4th for about the passed 3 seasons and it looks a complete joke when this happens!

  3. I hope we can get rid of Bernard...please!!

Looks like Fan Fan is away to some Spanish team as well...

Gimnastic de Tarragona have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Jose Karl Pierre-Fanfan from Rangers and are close to a deal with Real Madrid for Javier Portillo.

The newly-promoted Catalan outfit are looking to strengthen as they prepare for their first season in the top flight in 56 years.

Coach Luis Cesar is confident that the club will announce the arrival of two players this week and has been in negotiations with four players.

At the same time as discussing a deal with Rangers for Pierre-Fanfan, Nastic have also been in talks with French side Nantes about about loaning Julio Cesar Caceres.

According to reports in Catalonia, the club have reached a deal for Pierre-Fanfan, but could take Caceres, who is also a central defender, as well.

In their bid to reinforce their attacking options, Nastic were chasing Sevilla's Ariza Makukula, but the Congolese striker has announced that he wants to stay in Andalucia.

Now their attention has turned to Portillo, who is down the pecking order at Real Madrid once again following the arrival of Ruud van Nistelrooy.

"We have been talking with various players and hope to have some news early in the week when we have something concrete to say," Cesar said.

"Things are very close with him (Portillo), although at this stage nothing is confirmed because we still have a few things to sort out."

Cesar is being cautious after seeing Levante come in at the last minute and sign Cameroon striker Meyong Ze, after Nastic thought that they had struck a deal with the player last week.

  4. absolute dire against dundee!

shudve seen his first touch of the game btw nice easy ball from marv, all he has to do is knock it to n'diaye

    WRONG

sliced out for a Dee throw on the edge of our 18 yrd box! his play never got any better from there either!

  5. The Polish international is the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal following a six-month investigation.

A number of complaints were received by police after the SPL match against Rangers at Ibrox on February 12, which Celtic went on to win 1-0.

Boruc, 26, is said to have angered a section of the home support after allegedly making the religious gesture.

A Crown Office spokesman said: "A report has been received and it is being considered."

A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said: "The circumstances surrounding the alleged actions of a football player during the Old Firm match at Ibrox on February 12 2006 have been investigated and referred to the procurator fiscal at Glasgow."

The Polish goalkeeper, who played during this year's World Cup in Germany, signed for Celtic from Legia Warsaw in July last year.

  6. Olivier Bernard remains a target for Sheffield United, where boss Neil Warnock is keen to sign a left-back before the transfer deadline.

Centre-half Marvin Andrews, linked with Hibs earlier in the week is now attracting interest from Championship side Preston North End.

Jose-Karl Pierre Fanfan meanwhile is wanted by both Fenerbahce of Turkey and Spanish side Gimnastic.

  7. The one up front is the only one that cofuses me unless the players, Prso, Boyd, Beffel, Sebo etc are happy and can play in that formation.

beffel the 10th signing ?

looking good it has to be said, not everone is impressed with all signings made but i am and i like PLG's thinking, and moreso his attitude. definitely the man to get us back on track!

  8. To difficult to choose, Im sitting on the fence with this one and cant decide.

Imagine how good both would be!!

BTW I dont think winning the UEFA cup this season is beyond us and the thought of that is getting me excited!

is the fence barbed wire ?

i thot ladyboys got u more excited ?

Champs league for me! if PLG does as well as we hope and we can possibly mange to persuade him to stay another 3 years on his current 3 then you never know!

  9. Craig checked this out the other day:

Gers to win SPL & UEFA - 50/1

Gers to win SPL & SC - 4/1

Gers to win SPL & CIS - 4/1

Gers to win SPL, SC & CIS - 10/1

Gers to win SPL, SC, UEFA - 100/1

Gers to win SPL, CIS, UEFA - 100/1

    Gers to win all 4 - 250/1

worth putting a tenner on then

  10. But to answer Gribz's question, I think Sionko, Buffel and Adam will be the ones who really shine, while Clement and Svensson will do the business but in a more understated and less plaudited way.

i agree it will be more of a team effort but these 5 names and big dado will be the standouts for us this year!

thrilled to see Adam getting a game after raving about him last season! well in Charlie!

  11. SPL title back where it belongs and a good run in uefa cup hopefully progressing passed group stages. think we should manage to get to semi's in both domestic cups at least!

not being ambitious just curious - whats the odds on a quadruple for us btw ?:D

  12. We NEED the other Scottish teams to do reasonably well to at least be 15th and hopefully 9th.

Exactly, would pretty much be the end of scottish football if we dropped below 15th!

loss of revenue, loss of CL football to lure big signings.......

ok we dont have to support hearts ( i wont) but we do need them to do well coz we cant carry the co-ef on our own and i agree with gav i reckon craptic will have a piss poor turn out in this years CL.

  13. TBH it was a second string, but this is embarrassing. And they where rank rotten LOL!!!!:D

was gonna say, did they actaully play anyone from the normal 11 ? not really gonna have much affect on them against hearts if they didnt!

theyll still get pumped anyhoo :D
