  1. Sorry, I was just trying to have a conversation and this I just my opinion. I can be critical about FC Porto's manager, I'm not expecting that everyone will say that he is flawless.
  2. Actually, he never coached top flight in Portugal, so he is relatively unknown here. I don't know how important he was in signing Bruno Alves, but I was not very impressed with his work here in Portugal. To me, he seemed to be weak with his players and with the media. But Rangers fans surely know him better than I do now.
  3. Yes, of course it hasn't. What I said was a bit of a joke, although I firmly believe that Benfica is never to be trusted. BTW, I just found the first line of the Rangers' statement absolutely wonderful.
  4. Well, actually it was Sporting which was nearly pumped, but they survived. And I keep wishing Rangers the best of luck, although I don't think you've made a very good choice with the manager...
  5. Hate to say I told you so... http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?87898-Benfica-calling-Rangers-a-quot-corrupt-club-quot/page6
  6. No idea, as it is just something totally made up. It is making some headlines, actually: http://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/ac-milan-and-juventus-included-in-most-corrupt-clubs-in-europe-l-53734 https://en.as.com/en/2017/09/15/football/1505472908_194177.html
  7. OK, now you'll start wondering how I know about the Old Firm...
  8. Come on... First you attack me for writing "Glasgow Rangers" instead of Rangers. Then I did a little research and you start wondering how I know what Kerrydale means. Yes, I googled it. And yes, I've already read something about the Old Firm, I like reading about football.
  9. Back in 2003 we kept an UEFA Cup away from Kerrydale...
  10. Hi, I’m an FC Porto fan and I just came across this information and I want to share it with Rangers fans. BTV, Benfica’s own TV, has a show in which a former vice-president of the club showed an alleged ranking of Europe’s most corrupt clubs, published by the Daily Mail (you can see the video). But, in fact, this news piece was never written, it was made up. We were 3rd in the list, Glasgow Rangers is, according to Benfica, the 16th most corrupt club in Europe. Are you really going to play with them in Canada, on the 6th October? “1. O Marseille (France) 2. Juventus (Italy) 3. FC Porto (Portugal) 4. Berliner FC Dynamo (Germany) 5. CFR Cluj (Romania) 6. AC Milan (Italy) 7. Fiorentina (Italy) 8. FK Tomori Berat (Albania) 9. Lazio (Italy) 10. Valenciennes (France) 11. Leeds City FC (England) 12. Widzew Lodz (Poland) 13. Fenerbahçe (Turkey) 14. Besiktas (Turkey) 15. Olympiakos (Greece) 16. Glasgow Rangers (Scotland) 17. Reggina (Italy) Other clubs with corruption cases; Italy: Parma Spain: Deportivo La Coruña England: Barnsley, Queens Park Rangers and Southampton Finland: RoPs or Rovaniemen and FC Alliansi (Finnish club) Portugal: UD Leiria, Boavista, Gondomar and Sporting Portugal Czech: Viktoria Plzen, Slovacko and Banik Ostrava Austria: Kapfenberger SV” Regards, Pedro
