  1. If Hiddink does become the new Chelsea manager then how d'you know he'll be a failure? It seems you know for sure he will.

All i know is that all this Hiddink stuff is utter rubbish. Listen to what the great man says and it is well known around Chelsea that he is staying on until 2010.

  2. It doesn't keep me going Colshy, it doesn't keep me going at all.

Under JM Chelsea are very boring to watch. Hiddink plays a more attractive style of football which is more pleasing on the eye.

Even if that was the case i know i would much rather have a treble league winning side playing "boring" football, than a team who continualy fails in what they do but are supposed to play "good, flowing football".

Ill take the "boring win" anytime.

What if Rangers started playing "boring " football, but beat Celtic to the league championship every year?

i would take that over failure anyday!

p.s. congratulations on the 6-3 rout of the scousers.

  3. I think Chelsea will be a better team if Hiddink takes over as manager.

    You crack me up.

Honestly, if that is what keeps you going then feel free to believe it.

I got news for you gazza8. Jose aint going NOWHERE but to step up and collect the Premeiership title for a third time;)

  4. i realise their is another thread about this subject, but i want to let it be known that there are a Majority of fans out here who ALWAYS wanted this appointment and i believe we should all rally round our great new manager and his team.

Its time to win back the scottish game from celtic and there is no better appointment that could have been made than the great Walter Smith.

There has been grumblings from a SMALL, insignificant section of the support about how the appointment has been made, but if your a true blue then you wont even think about that, you will get behind Smith and Mccoist from the start until we win back the title from them.

I urge fans of Rangers f.c not to listen to these Smith knockers or doubters as they really only have one intention at heart and this to see Rangers to continue failing in everything they do.

Walter and Ally will bring us back the league given time and we must also start to do our job now and get behind their sellection every saturday.

I welcome you back to Ibrox Stadium Walter, and Ally.

  5. I have a friend who is a die-hard Man U fan, he is also English.

This time last year we had a football team Xmas night out (always do it after Xmas as most people leave the island for Xmas) and we had an argument about whether or not Henrik Larsson was good enough to play for Man U (after Ferguson had previously tried to sign him).

He refused to believe that any player from the SPL was good enough to play in the EPL, let alone for Man U.

Another Scottish friend and I tried to convince him with what Larsson does aside from score goals and he wouldn't be convinced - am pretty sure that he will have changed his mind after watching Larsson on Sunday though.

I am like you Chris, I actually very much admire Henrik Larsson - quality player, great finisher, assists too, great hunger for the game - something we could still be doing with at Ibrox.

I bet he`s eating a large slice of humble pie.

  6. I'd rather bring a proper captain - an experienced, international, centre half.

I agree with Gribz but Calscot makes the best point. I f Smith and Mccoist come in Ferguson will definetly get the armband back. It`s the same old tired cliches at Rangers all the time now.

I was actually hoping we could nick in and steal Mathew Upson from Birmingham. He is an underrated England international who may be interested in us for the european football.

Another one i`d like is Damien johnson of Birmingham. Top class Irish international who would bring a wealth of experience to our midfeild

  7. Arsenal are beginning to spread the goals throughtout the team now. Adebayor, RvP, Rosicky, Toure, Hoyte, Eboue to name a few have scored for them in the past month or so.

I reckon Stokes will flop at Sunderland.

    No way!

I rate stokes quite highly and although it`s good business, i still think they should`ve kept him. he had a lot to learn before he shouldve been let go.

  8. I hope your keeping well anyway Colshy. We are not the best of friends but i wish you a happy new year.

Strange. Why do keep calling me coshly?:(

Hey mister, ive never met you so how can we be not friends?

    Strange!

  9. Bardsley joins Villa

Aston Villa have taken Manchester United full-back Phil Bardsley on loan.

    Black Cats capture Stokes

Sunderland have completed the capture of Arsenal's Anthony Stokes for £2million.

    2Million??

Thats a good deal for arsenal. But you`ve got to wonder why Arsenal put him out on loan in the first place if it wasnt to further his career experience. Seems they used Falkirk as a shop window!

  10. Rumours going round in the Dutch media that the Jos© Mourinho factor has worn off and Guus Hiddink is ready to step in and take over at Chelsea. Roman Abramovich and Hiddink know each other from the Russsian team.(Roman pays his wages it is said) Mourinho's Porto were better revelation has probably signed his fate.

    mwahhahahahahahaha:rolleyes:

  11. He's not one for hanging about though. Remember when he won the CL with Porto? He didn't even celebrate winning it. As soon as the FT whistle went he was off down the tunnel packing his suitcase to fly to London.

But, I'd love to see him lose the league, the look on his face would be priceless.

    keep dreaming mate:rolleyes:
