  1. Any truth in this Frankie?

However, three bidders have made their presence known and The Daily Telegraph understands that Bill Ng, the Singaporean businessman, is back in contention with two new parties in the running, one of which is a UK-based consortium with Scots on board. One of the three appears to have proposed a deal worth close to the £11.6 million offered by Miller and administrators last night indicated that a deal could still be made by Fridayâ??s deadline along the same proposals as Millerâ??s newco plan.

  2. Some elsewhere suggest he's still after a stand-alone CVA but I doubt that's possible this season.

Ergo, if Kennedy/TBK wants to make a bid, it will either be a newco or we'll have another ten point deduction as we'd more than likely to be in administration at the start of next season.

Further, if they want to achieve a stand alone CVA then they may need to inject substantial monies by the end of the month to keep many players.

CVA is till the preferred option because we wouldn't be banned for Europe for 3 years, is that correct?

  3. Just checked and they've now edited the article. I copied and pasted to here before they edited it. Looks like they've made a mistake and got the wrong Bill Miller.... woops!

    Don't blame me!

Haha, I thought I was going mental :) Checked a few times on different browsers to see if that was the issue but as you say it looks like they've edited it and got the wrong Bill/William Miller.

  4. Could people at the club such as Gordon Smith, Andrew Dickson or Ali Russell have done more? Possibly.

Did they know the situation with respect to our tax evasion? Possibly.

Fact is - as with SDM - Whyte did the decision-making that counts so those are the men ultimately responsible. This doesn't mean the club should hide from censure - just that it should be suitable, credible and certainly accountable.

Gordon Smith has said on numerous occasions he wasn't aware that tax wasn't getting paid.
