Incidentally, with Aberdeen clearly struggling for cash, do you think they'll still bother with the expense of flying out to the Czech Republic? Or, like Celtic, should they just chuck in the towel and stay home next week? In many ways, Celtic's 1-0 defeat by Dynamo Moscow was the biggest brasser of the week.

After all, unlike the Parkhead club, Motherwell and Aberdeen don't have ridiculous delusions of grandeur.

They don't yap on about being too big for Scottish football while spouting fantastic fairytales about joining the best league in the world ... only to get pumped by a mediocre Russian side.

Minus the new bumblebee kit, the Hoops played like wasps (ie, Alloa) and Marco-Antoine Fortune looked like Celtic's answer to Chris Iwelumo. Ofcourse, it's not over yet (don't forget, Celtic have a terrific away record in the Champions League) but I'll tell you what ... they better hope this Barcelona style of football only takes a few more days to kick in.
