Wasn't Prso one of them? Still gotta ask yourself why Wilson was able to make the team at 17 but Perry and McMillan, to use 2 examples, are 20 and 21 respectively and have just 1 senior appearance between them. metlika 0 Posted August 19, 2010 Share Posted August 19, 2010 Davie weir. I could be wrong, but I think he was into his twenties before he turned pro. He went to America to play college soccer. So started his pro career later than the usual players. I guess this has helped him prolong his career. Weir strolls the SPL but any CL striker/attacker with good pace can skin Weir with ease.
