In Holland there are no police in the stadiums anymore only stewards. If there is derogatory singing then the referee can take the players off the field and a warning is announced over the tannoy system that the game will be postponed if the singing does not cease. For the high risk games there are always riot police kept just outside the stadium but everything is as low key as possible.
