A man who posted sectarian comments on a Facebook page called "Neil Lennon Should be Banned" has been jailed for eight months

The streets will be a lot safer now then eh?,meanwhile drug dealers,rapists,bheasts ect;,all walk the streets and probably do a bit of community service!!!!. An absolute disgrace if anyone thinks that deserves 8 months imprisonment.What a crazy,shitty wee country this is.

The first victims of these laws will be the hardest hit, as the judge says, he wants to send out a clear message. Of course, it seems easier, but not cheeper to lock someone up for ignoring their dictats. As soon as the expensive option of jail becomes to much of a burdon to the state, they will get lesser and lesser sentances, more in line with rape, murder and armed robbery.

 

I'd prefer my politicians to think, rather than just come out with more and more laws against what they beleive to be criminal.
