We have been - on the whole - less than convincing at Ibrox for a few years now, TBH. As if dominating a game and be creative does not suit us as much as playing fast and counter-attacking football away from home, when we can pick teams off while they try to play footie.

IMHO, too much lies on the shoulders of Davis here and once he's not out of the blocks from the start, our general play lacks considerable (not least under the circumstances above). McKay is someone who can change that and it is sad that it needs an injury to our best player to get another creative centre-midfield player into the side.

Teams come and sit in, very hard to break down so lots of nil-nil at halftime, as games goes on they tire lose concentration make mistakes the goals will come.

Would love to see that first team of yours on Saturday Laudrup. But with Ally bigging up Sasa all week can't see the left side changing much, think he might start same team as muttonland with Ortiz in for Naisy.
