Some say it's a burden and he's suffering ill form from it, but tbh I just realised his form only dipped when Naisy got injured. Before that, Davis was playing well. Naisy has been the catalyst for a lot, but I'm not going there for now... The point is, possibly the captaincy is no burden to Davis, and his form is just suffering from the same crap the rest of the team is. If he does half the work Naismith did then he could well help in that department. But I am absolutely not holding out hope that anyone can replace Naismith for the kind of outlay we're looking at. If a 250k player can replace the quality of a player whose value must now be at 8M (we paid 2) then I'll eat my hat and paint your house.
