Seeds of clubâ??s destruction sown by Fergus McCann

Recommended Posts

Strong rumour at the time was it was DM that gave Fergus the cash to bail the tarriers out as he knew if they did go to the wall rangers wouldn't be far behind

Havnt laughed so much in years. What complete claptrap. Murray not once ever put his hand in his pocket for US, never ind for anyone else.

Wowzers. You really need to get out more if that really is the case. At the time it was kicking about and does make logical sense. Not sure what age you are, but if you were old enough you'd have heard it

There is not a hope in hell that Murray put 'one thin dime' into Celtic, he spent 20 odd years at Ibrox and never managed it, so to think that he helped prop up the Timothy in their hour of need is pretty unbelievable now. Maybe back then when he was the all powerful Dave Murray it was more plausible, but with hindsight it does seem pretty ridiculous.
