RST Meet with David Murray

The RST attended a brief meeting with David Murray and Martin Bain before Wednesdays match with St. Johnstone. Attendees were Chairman Malcolm McNiven, Vice-Chairman Scott McMillan, Spokesperson David Edgar and Webmaster Stewart Franklin.

While the details of the meeting were confidential, the RST feel that their members should know that the RST reps raised a number of concerns relating to the club in the short discussion. Topics raised included finance; the short and long-term planning strategy of the club; media; and the clubs relationship with the fans.

The Chairman listened and indicated he would make a statement in the next few days.

The RST look forward to hearing his statement and will discuss its implications at our next board meeting, scheduled for next week.

A further meeting between the club and the RST is provisionally scheduled for late December.

I can assure you the Trust are bullied by no-one.

SO there wont be any backlash against them(or individuals) for having the temerity to say what the bulk of the fans think?

Wish I shared your optimism Frankie
