that's turnover. if green means 5 to 10 million turnover from Ashley not only is it possible its piss poor.

 

we got 20 plus in turnover from our shops.

 

no their turnover is between £50m and £60m. they bring in between £12m and £15m from merchandising alone. we can only guess what portion of that is profit. i thought green would have been talking about profit. jjb were already giving us £3m clear, which i thought was poor for one of the worlds most famous and most popular clubs.

our turnover from the shops was 20 million plus. profit was around 4 the last time figures were published IIRC.

yeah mate. I mean celtcs figure is merchandising turnover. retail profit is rarely more than 20% of turnover or so I'm told

ah right i see. they still do pretty well and their brand and shirt is worldwide unlike ours which is limited to scottish sports shops. i havnt been anywhere where i havnt seen their shirt in a sports shop and i have been around the world quite a bit

yeah that's a huge downside to our deal with jjb.
