Difficult situation for both parties actually because he'll be like all players and want to get a regular game, but he's been injured for huge periods in the past few years, so hasn't been available to get a proper chance. There's also the money aspect and I think if it wasn't for the injury issues he would be in line for a decent wage increase if he was getting a new deal, but with the injury issues factored in along with the club's current circumstances, it's hard to say whether he would get offered a wage increase at all. Assuming that he does get offered a deal though, then it's ultimately going to come down to what the lad's various expectations are, but he certainly isn't in a position to demand any guarantees about game time considering his injury history. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
