NICKY LAW is confident Rangers will turn on the style in the Scottish Second Division and that the players in Ally McCoist’s squad can get supporters out of their seats both at home and away.

This week Law has worked closely with his new team-mates for the first time as pre-season training got underway at Murray Park.

Aside from being impressed with the fitness levels Nicky also believes there is plenty of skill and flair in the group which bodes well for the start of the 2013/14 campaign.

McCoist certainly has a lot of attacking options with new recruits Nicky Clark and Jon Daly adding further firepower in the last third of the pitch.

And in his first meeting with his players on Monday the Manager re-iterated his desire to give fans entertaining football to watch along with plenty of goals.

Law, who was today modelling the club’s stunning new Puma away kit, said: “That was the first thing he said when he got us all together for the first meeting on the first day.

“He wants us a lot fitter and said we were going to work really hard in pre-season and throughout the season.

“But from the first day of training the balls were out and there was an emphasis on getting it down and playing with a tempo.

“You can see that with the signings and there were a lot of good attacking players already here as well.

“So the emphasis is going to be on attack and we will be fit, strong and ready for the first game when it comes.

“It will be high pressing and we’ll be working hard and harassing teams high up the pitch.

“That’s how we are going to try and play and we will stick to that philosophy home or away."

After the mayhem which surrounded last summer’s pre-season there is an air of excitement at the club’s training base at Auchenhowie and spirits were high at this afternoon’s Puma photo shoot with the new players relishing the chance to pull on a Rangers top.

Law added: “It’s probably different to the photo shoots I’m used to and I’ve never had make up on my face before!

“That was a first but I think you expect it when you come to a club of this size, things are going to be a little bit different.

“It’ll take a little bit of getting used to but it’s great and the kits are great.

“I’m really enjoying it and I think you can feel the excitement surrounding the club at the minute which is nice.

“The last couple of years they’ve had have maybe not been like that so the excitement factor that is around the club now is great for everyone involved.

“There are some new signings and really good signings, exciting SPL players as well, and there are maybe a few more to follow."

Official Rangers Puma team merchandise will be available from the start of Season 2013/14 in the Rangers Megastore at Ibrox Stadium, the Glasgow Airport and Belfast shops, PUMA outlets, Sports Direct stores throughout the UK, and online at http://www.rangersmegastore.com, http://www.puma.com and http://www.sportsdirect.com.
