elfideldo 409 Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 Probably the biggest factor was lack of competitive game time, there was a youth league, just that we weren't in it. A fair number of our younger players only had bounce games arranged at short notice to keep them playing. When the contract was on the table there was no clear picture with regards to us playing in the league this year ( we are in it), so a repeat of last season and little competitive football was a possibility. A decent footballing left-sided centre-back, personally I felt Gasparotto was ahead of him, but I think he has a decent chance of progressing. I believe if Rangers play hardball the compensation would be fairly significant, with Hamilton Accies possibly due part of it. I think its more likely they would come to an agreement with Coventry, possibly related to any progress he makes.
