As of this season our U20 team now play the SPFL's newly formed 'Development League' which consists of 17 teams playing each other home and away for a total of 32 games in the season.

Their first game was against Partick Thistle at Firhill last Monday night where we lost 2-1.

The second game of the campaign is a home game next Tuesday (the 19th) against Falkirk, but I don't have any details. It's possible that details will be announced on the @RFC_Youth twitter account, but they might not be.

Our third game is away to Hamilton Accies on Tuesday 2 September.

Any idea if that's indoors or outdoors mate? If indoors I may take the wee fella along and watch.

I played on that indoor pitch last Saturday for the first time @ 11's, oaft it is without doubt the BIGGEST pitch I've ever played on, took me till Wednesday the following week to recover. Albeit I hadn't played 11's in around 4 years.
