They are only behind the big 5 if EPL, La Liga, Seria A, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga. The Championship seems to have TONS of money floating around ! And the standard of quality isn't that great, considering the sums spent. I doubt any Championship side would cause any half decent Europa League side any problems. Like McCormack still being on a long deal when being transferred. But the fee is just mad, as you already said. He had just scored 29 goals and isn't an out and out striker.
