While waiting I heard the child presenter say something about Scotland's greatest footballer against a back shot of Kenny Dalglish. I have no idea what the context was. The thought that flitted through my brain was Baxter but on reflection KD's a fair shout. Glittering career iin England which Baxter did not have. Against that, Baxter was post injury in England and his teams were not the rock solid platform that Liverpool were when Dalglish was there..
