Articles of Association Vote

In order to progress the arrangements for the set up of Club 1872 we need to adopt a new Article into the Articles of Association of Rangers First 2014 CIC. This new Article is set out below.

23.5 The Directors shall be appointed annually following a vote amongst all of the contributors to the Company. The directors appointed shall be those with the highest number of votes on the basis of one vote for each contributor. The number of directors to be appointed shall be seven.

For these purposes, the contributors to the company shall consist of those recognised by the Company as Club 1872 life members, members who became life members on the assumption by Club 1872 of the life members of Rangers First and the Rangers Supporters Trust and those persons who are contributing funds to Club 1872 on a periodic basis and who are no more than one month in arrears.

Club 1872 is the collective title applied to the Company, Club 1872 Projects CIC, Club 1872 Limited and Supporters Voice Limited and such other entities as may be approved by the foregoing companies and admitted to Club 1872 from time to time.

 

Our members have already voted in favour of the Club 1872 proposals. To make this happen we need the Article to be approved as a special resolution. This means 75% of those voting have to vote in favour. Please do use your vote.
